Welcome to Montana's Last Frontier ...

It was nearly twenty years ago that Joanne and I moved from New Hampshire to the wide open spaces of Montana, and eventually to the beautiful Yaak Valley. Even though our surroundings have changed, one thing has remained constant throughout. We've taken our love and respect for the mountains, waters, wildlife, and fly fishing with us. We started Linehan Outfitting Company in 1993 to share this experience with others. And what an experience it is from the lush forests of northwestern Montana chock full of game, to the rivers we fish like the Kootenai, Clark Fork and others.

It's an understatement to say we still can't believe we're living that dream and we feel incredibly fortunate to that end. Our success and growth is reflected in the large number of guests who come back year after year to share our little piece of heaven and we're constantly told our enthusiasm is infectious and we're never happier than when our guests are smiling.
