  Fishing Report
Clark Fork River (updated April 28, 2008)
Condtions: Presently river flows are averaging around 5000 cfs and stable. With cold nights conditions should remain pretty good. Skwalas are hatching! And fish are eating on top. Also look for gray drakes, baetis and March Browns throughout the day as well. As long as temps don't warm up too much good fishing should continue through the week at least.

Suggested Flies: Skwalas, gray drakes, blue winged olives, March browns, pt nymphs, skwala nymphs, SJ worm, flashback pt nymphs, parachute adams, purple haze
Kootenai River (updated April 28, 2008)
Condtions: Discharge from Libby Dam is currently 4,000 cfs. Presently the river is generally fishing well. What with cold nights the river conditions should remain stable. Look for rising fish in slower waters and boulder gardens during bwo hatches. Lately there's been a smattering of March browns hatching as well. Water temps are still chilly so don't expect to find too many fish in fast water or riffles yet. Keep in mind the river is closed for spawning from the Libby Dam downstream to the Fisher River Bridge. We're expecting a tremendous season in 2008. Snow pack is great and will keep conditions constant and prime for the entire season. We still have availability throughout the season so give us a call or flash us an e-mail. 800-596-0034 info@fishmontana.com Boston Red Sox off to a good start!
