Montana Hunting Tags

Moose, Bighorn Sheep, and Mountain Goat licenses are available through an annual special lottery drawing. Each year we have the opportunity to guide a few lucky hunters on some epic adventures.

HUNTING INFORMATION

  • Mid-September through November 25th, depending on species. 

  • Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat

  • 270 Mag, 280, 7mm mag, 30-06, 300

OVERVIEW

SPECIAL HUNTING LICENSES FOR MOOSE, BIGHORN SHEEP, MOUNTAIN GOATS, AND MOUNTAIN LIONS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH AN ANNUAL SPECIAL LOTTERY DRAWING.

Each year we have the opportunity to guide a few lucky hunters on epic adventures in pursuit of these animals. If you’ve been fortunate to draw a special tag and you are looking for some local knowledge and guidance, give us a call. We will be happy to serve as a guide and outfitter. If you’re interested in applying for a special license or tag, we’ll be happy to assist you through the application process. The application deadline for Moose, Sheep, and Goat is June 1.
